A Man Or A Woman Maybe Brave

At some point in time

A man or a woman maybe brave

Not like a niggling or mischievous slave

But adventurous and determined

In front of unexpectedly amphigoric obstacles

Life is such

Life is magically wonderful

Temporarily for a man in power

Because all power is ephemeral. What a nightmare

For the political novice or the scraggly immature

Who is stubborn, ambitious and anomic

The poor guy hears, but he disregards his critics

Oh! The sea is perilous, murderous and beautiful

Everywhere are the henchmen, the tyrants, the rebels

The cowards, the pig worms and the traitors

'Dominus vobiscum' uttered the pauper priest

Evil exists. Hell is crowded with murderers

Swimming in weird and petty swampy pools

The word 'hero' is a four-letter word for various reasons

Heroes are rare, brave, valiant and powerful

But they are not criminal, even dangerous

For the society. A man maybe squeaky and lucky

But not heroic on all occasions or in all seasons

Nevertheless, some are daring, gibbering and gothic

But not magnanimous, idyllic and heroic.
