Who I am today is unique to me alone.

No one else has lived the life that I have known.

But who I am today may change at any time,

Without and reason, or even any rhyme.

I am quiet and shy, not the first to raise my hand,

But I’m also the kind of person whom you’d want to be your friend.

I’ve had hard times in life, they’ve made me feel pretty down,

But I always try to greet, each new day without a frown.

My life has brought me to this point, and as I end this slam,

I am a happy, selfless person, that is who I am.
