A Man

A Man

When I look at a man

I see foundation

Ready to built

Become something greater than himself

Confident with his stride

He knows his fathers instillments

Things only a father can give

Contributions a mother could never give

However she will try

This man deserves a family

Love needed to be experienced by someone not sharing his birth

A process he must face

Determines his life skills and integrity

He will allow himself to love

Become things he learned to understand

He turned into a father

Continuing what was instilled in him

So he offered himself

And they took, his children

Passing on a cycle of man

That is what I see when I look at a man
