This Is A Man’s World.

Freedom for women! They scream.

Freedom of pay! They cry.

I thought growing up everyone would be equal.

Women are hushed, no pain or hair is to be seen.

Realizing as a girl to a women I would no longer be able to fly.

Men are not equal to women and I saw,

When he got a raise and I stayed in my office down the hall.

I worked harder, I showed up early, yet no one would prepare to tell me,

Baby this is a mans world.

I am no longer a child,

When men groped women and stared at me with hunger.

Women must grow up quicker to men,

because we must be fast to run to strive to be at the same level as men.

Boys will be boys,

and girls must be women.
