Magnolias in Spring

Warmth, growth,

Smiles, laughter,

"I love you," it's almost an oath-

to someone you're with all the time.

Love, love, love;

it feels like a budding Magnolia

in the Spring,

Wide, strong, and beautiful...

That is love's true symbol.

Hate. Anger. Cold.

"Because I love you..."

It's not the same.

The simplicity of love,

you can't use it to shame.

"Because I love you,

I will be there for you, uplift you,

all these things and more,

Because I love you."
