Maggots

I look at maggots and see worms,
I don't see death or terror,
Only worms,
When I see a maggot I don't scream,
I know for a fact it won't hurt me,
They eat the dead and only that,
No fresh flesh,
Oh, never that,
When I see a maggot I won't shutter,
They do their job and eat our blunders.
