Fables foam from your mouth

Like a sea snake and

Venom soaked fangs

Nibble at my ear.

Your words slither down

along the curve of my chin.

Dripping down

filling the oceans.

Trust becomes waterlogged

with tall tales

Pulled under choppy waves

Drowning with seaweed.

Adrift in the sea

Once a brilliant speck

Ebbs in with the tide

A warning to innocents.
