lunch

Fri, 12/06/2013 - 15:20 -- natedog

I walk through the halls

I sit in all the small desks

for each and every one of my classes

it is a need for me to pass their tests

As I glance up at the clocks that hand on the walls

I notice each minute passes

slow and steady,

I know I am ready.

The bell calls

I make my way to the Cafeteria

with not a thing to say

I grab my trey

type in my number for pay

Look around for a place to sit down

It’s my first time being here

From a different town

I hope to meet brand new peer

But no one ses much

As I begin to eat my lunch
