Luke 2: 78- 79

Luke 2: 78-79-

‘Because of God’s tender mercy,

the morning light from heaven is about

to break upon us,

to give light to those who sit in darkness

and in the shadow of death,

and to guide us to the path of peace. ‘

We would have no sunlight without God.

He gives us everything.

I wake up in the morning to watch

The grand Artist paint the sky

With a million breathtaking colors.

I wake up to watch Him grant us once again

The light of the greatest star in the universe.

I wake up in the morning to thank my Father

For the birds and the leaves and dew.

I watch Him send birds soaring across the sky-

God’s perfect creatures greeting the day from a hundred feet up.

I wake up in the morning to thank my Creator

For His grace and mercy and love.

I wake up to witness another day on God’s earth,

And discover the beauty that He has given us.

I wake up in the morning to praise my God and

Thank Him for everything-

The Ultimate Sacrifice, the beauty of this world,

And the morning light from heaven.
