Love's Slave

No I will not apologize for my lack of grace!

Who told you that I would open every inch of my heart to you?

Don't expect what should never be given.

Of course I want to know your love as ice wants to know fire,

But the fire would pass and leave me,

A puddle on the floor.

Drink from me please!

Take all that I am and don't waste me.

I want to quench your thirst and give you your heart's desires.

I want to make you greater by my presence alone.

I don't need anything,

but you.

All I ever wanted or needed was your love.

All I ever think about is you,

My love.

Care for me again I beg you!

I won't shy away this time.

I only fear unnamed emotions.

I cannot handle the weight of love,

For I've never carried such a load.

Or felt such a burden until now.

Just come back!

We can make it all better!

I'll be your mule and your slave.

I'll be your slave...
