Love's First Tale

Sun, 03/03/2013 - 11:15 -- Lomuse

It came about one day,
That love came creeping this way,
Into our hearts and in our mind,
Surely it seemed like the right kind.

Yes, love has tricks,
And the hearts begin to tick,
Tock lulling us to sleep,
All the love begins to seep,

Out from our hearts and into the open,
Loving is not always asleep in its den,
It waits about with hopes so high,
Daring us to begin to fly,

So here is the beginning and the end,
Of love's first tale as it descends,
To our hearts,
We'll never be apart.

That is why we feel this way,
Because love wishes to forever make our days.
