A Love That Shall Never Be

Love. The love I have for him is the most

Dangerous type of love I know, for it

Will surely never come without a cost.

We are two souls that are not meant to fit.

Though in my dreams we find a perfect bliss,

And our happiness will last forever,

Reality knows I won’t feel his kiss,

And happiness with him will happen never.

Yet I still yearn for him, and always will.

Though my existence he will never know,

His smile will always give me a thrill,

His presence always giving me a glow.

So my love for him will only cost me

As I dream of love that shall never be.
