Love Never Understood

Persephone captured by the enemy of all man kind

How could this happen to her, she was meant for more

Now all she had was hope, she refused to eat anything

That monster offered her

How long could she last it’s been months

She misses her mother and even her father

Although he was to blame for all of it

How could he just sell her to the man meant for death

Its been a year and he isn’t that bad

Though her strength leaves her

He decides its best to let her go

Hades calls her father and he watches her go

It’s been two years since his little flower left him

He is colder and his heart is stone

But now she has come to him on purpose

Who would have thought an arranged marriage

For the improvement of business

Could have led to the everlasting joy of two people

Even if her mother is inconsolable

She is losing her daughter

But this time Persephone loves her husband

Even if he is the bringer of death

He is hers, her husband, her love

Her Hades
