A Love Long Lost

Location

A Love Long Lost, A heart so pure
A boy so kind, A girl so demure
Confessions made by text on phones
Words which shook their very bones

An innocent girl, once hurt so bad
Will never again be sad

Being polite, and ignoring her texts
The girl didn't see what was coming next
The boy stopped talking, stopped attending church
Her heart was torn, she gave up her search

An innocent girl, once so in love
Will shield her heart thereof

Years pass by, and the girl grows
Of love and her future she not knows
A man she befriends, so honest and sweet
She hides her heart, her feelings defeat

A young woman, her feelings she hides
Blind to love, which coincides

Late on night he bled his heart
A moment was shared, and new life to start

A Love Long Lost, a life renewed
Love bloomed once again, love accrued
