The Love of a Cat

Wed, 11/13/2013 - 18:08 -- LexiTk

The world as she knows it comes to an end.
The pain, the suffering, the life of my best friend.
Her soft fluffy body so frail and so depleted,
I can't help but to think that her life wasn't completed.
Heavy, relentless sobs begin to shake my body,
As I hold the lifeless corpse with my father sat beside me.
Sweet and calming dreams, I wish to my best friend,
With no more pain and suffering for you to feel again.
