A Lost girl Fearing Her True Self

A lost girl fearing her true self

Afraid to show her true colors

Yet no one knows the real her

Everyone see's her as someone who is quiet

Someone who is easy to talk to

But never easy to talk

A lost girl fearing her true self

Hides behind walls

The walls that are hard for her to tear down

 She wants to be vulnerable

She wants to be open to love

But doesn't know how

A lost girl fearing her true self

Making up excuses

Not putting time and effort in what she wants

Letting others stop her

Losing hope so easy

Beleiving all her derams are shattered into pieces

A lost girl fearing her true self

Listening to the voices inside her head

Letting them take over her life

Allowing them to become her friends

Beleiving in their words of hoplessness and doubt

A lost girl fearing her true self

Wants to reveal the true her

The girl thats not afraid to fail

Puts time and effort into what she wants

Tells others how she feels

Doesn't hide behind a mask of fear and hate

Willing to learn from her mistakes

She has a mind of her own

Determined to live up to her destiny

A girl so very lost and confused and wants to be set free

Today I realized that the girl was me
