Lost

Why did you leave?

The family I mean

Of course

it was probably your time

But you left me hanging

With so many questions

Though you were hardly around

I called you family

And I meant it

But you left me wondering

If you thought the same

I shed my tears for you

The day you went into the ground

I felt the emptiness you feel

When a loved one has passed

But you left me thinking

That I was not enough

Why did you leave?

I’m looking for clues in my head

Hoping, wishing, and wanting

To believe you saw me as family

But you left me lost

Questioning your love

After your death

I received your forgiveness, thank you. I envy you forgiveness, it's a shame. It's private and not a circus.

you said get out of my house with insults. I was hurt. Those Christmas alone and sad. I called you, they told me your dead.

I saw your call, but chose to let it ring. I am dead, dead to you, to everyone.

I can't bring myself to see your face, or anyone elses for that matter.
