Lost

Location

The innocent heart of a young child,

Has sprouted into something reckless and wild.

A teenager not knowing right from wrong,

'Cause her momma's a drunk and her daddy is gone.

She's learned to wander all on her own,

Because to her, Hell is just another word for home.

Every time she has a plan to run away,

She realizes she has no where else to stay.

The only person she thought of as a friend,

Ended up betraying her in the end.

She had trusted her with all her heart,

But the traitor just tore it apart.

She often wonders, "why me?"

What had she done to deserve misery?

Staring up at cloudy skies

Tears brimming in her eyes

She plans to end all her pain

And her tears and blood splatter down like rain.
