A Look Inside My Head

Your life is now a delusion.

Love is just an illusion.

Made up fantasies surround you

The demons inside just won’t let you get through.

You’re the silent voice in the crowd,

No one hears you when you shout.

So here’s to them and their happy home.

You hope they’re better when you’re gone.

No one really knows what it’s like

To never sleep through the night,

Because the monsters in your head won’t go away.

They love to attack and stay to play.

They laugh and sneer at your pain.

They love to make you go insane.

All you can do is lay there and cry

And think about how all you want to do is die.

The monsters and demons in your head

In your closet, under your bed.

Won’t ever leave you, you will see.

Then you’ll know what it’s like to be me.
