Long Before I Wane

For an eternity
I wandered the vastness of the past
upon reaching the hearth of home
my journey felt complete
souls to admire
reflections to cradle
fears to quell
--
For an eternity
I wandered the heavens of tomorrow
never a need was moot
souls to share
memories to regale
elation to revere
--
For an eternity
since I withered
I carry emblems
sounds of hope
emotions so tender
desire in earnest
--
For an eternity
nay for an eternity
