A Lonely Girl

Location

Once,

there was a girl,

she was all alone.

She had no friends,

and hung around with no one.

But then somebody stretched out a hand,

she grabbed holding it tightly,

afraid that it would disappear...

Then another held out their hand,

and she held onto it just as tightly.

One in her right,

the other in her left.

Then, they all started to grow up.

The first made a new friend.

The second and the girl became friends with the third also.

But then...

the third started to steal the first.

The girl held on tightly,

but that just made it worse...

the second started to slip away,

and the girl became truly panicked.

Now, she has four arms,

and three hands,

the third having been cut off...

all of her hands hang on tightly...

but the other hands holding hers,

have become lax in different ways.

So she holds on,

holds on as tight as she can...

because she’s afraid of being alone again.
