Logophiliac

Location

All great writers suffer from a disease,
a sickness,
categorized solely by insanity.
Logophilia -
the love of words,
the passion of diction.
Hemingway,
Bukowski,
Plath,
they all were poisoned.
One wonders how a love,
a passion,
could be noted as poisonous.
It was insanity,
no question,
and they lived in the asylums of their minds.
They wrote,
for a voice within them commanded it,
declared it compulsory.
From the moment pen met paper,
writers,
the logophiliacs,
were doomed.
