We had Phelps and Lochte on our Team,

We had Gabby Douglass on the beam.

They and others came to London and helped us win,

The Summer Olympics once again.

We’re the land of the free,

And home of the brave.

We celebrate July 4th,

Our Independence Day.

We’re the Nation of opportunity for a better life,

As long as it’s lawful, we do whatever we like.

In fall it’s tailgating and football,

Summer is cookouts and baseball.

We’re Red White and Blue –

The Stars and Stripes –

The Flag of the greatest nation.

If you ask me what America means to me,

I’ll say all of this and more.
Because this is my home,

It gives me everything I need plus more.
