Little Girl

Thu, 08/08/2013 - 16:57 -- jbrown2

It all started with a little girl, angry, and upset at the world.

With no escape or way to express the problems she faced

Or to discuss the hard decisions she had to make.

Until,

One day a man came

Handed her paper but a pen with no ink

Confused at first she began to think

Why? Why? WHY?

Why me?

Her mind began to speak as her pen filled with ink

and with it in hand she stroked the paper leaving her pain and suffering.

Then, this little girl that was mad, angry, and upset at the world

This little girl no longer frustrated with the world gained a new perspective

and let her soul flow.

Letter after letter to create her words

Word after word creating a phrase

and the phrasing coming together to complete her stories.

I write to escape from this life I Live

From the reality I'm in

I spill my emotions, problems, and pain with the ink form my pen

so it will forever be here.

Many try to forget the bad things in the past

but without these problems I have faced

I wouldn't be the Young Lady I am today.

I write down my goals, plans, hopes, and dreams so one day it will be reality.
