Little fish in the bowl, why dost thou swim
In such transparency, sheltered and saved
Guarded by glass walls, untouched, scaly, dim
Surrounded by comfort, creature enslaved

While here I am, unprotected and out
Running and knowing what it truly means
To swim in sunlight and parched endure draught
To make mistakes and have no routines

Won’t you come out, fish, and live as I do
Or stay forever guarded in that tank
Doomed to wonder, never know, have no clue
What happiness is, what is true and frank

Oh, little fish, I feel sorry for thee
Thou shall never be as happy as me
