A Lion's Piece of Equality

Location

When the lions roam the earth

thinking that they make the rules

the lambs cower in fear

of being reprimanded for who they are

When the lions roam the earth

believing that they are the norm

the lambs are mocked and tormented

despite shared characteristics

When the lions roam the earth

feeling superior to the rest

the lambs point out - they are one in the same

there is nothing to be ashamed of

When the lambs roam the earth

with freedom on their backs

the lions learn to understand:

a mammal is a mammal, no matter who they love
