Linda S. Rogers

Contagious as the mid-seasonal runny-nose flu;

Her love for me, unabashed, a soulmate tis true

For we were both were creative yet so vegetative

And we were both adroitly empathetic for

Each other’s struggles, subjectively pathetic

She was once ignited by fire no doubt

But now was sedated from being over-medicated

However, we both saw in each other

Simply the star potential for we both were prudential

To the rare qualities we had evidential

We adored each other in 10 dimensions

Only to be understood by those existential

It breaks my heart to simply thus admit

That she now flies with the angels above

Surely watching down upon me,

My white-clad angel, My true Love
