Lights? Lights!

Flooding my ocean was a lighter tint.

Though, I knew she’d become a brighter blue.

Looming slowly, the city was a glint.

One by one, the skyline formed in a queue.

Kissing the ground the wheels loudly scream: Chiu!

Pulsating vibrancy surrounded me.

A peek of Times Square peeped from my side view.

On my left, families enjoy an afternoon tea.

Many stores begging for my shopping spree.

I could finally see; I belonged here.

I now knew getting a bachelor’s degree

was a vision that would not disappear.

With all of this, everything is awesome.

Now I just have to let everything blossom.
