Light of Mine

Life is mandatory consumption enabling me to grow

This passion within my soul

Determination at war with tribulation

Trials of transforming into a women

And times I wasn’t consoled

Yet the passions repairs itself growing stronger

Driving me to push forward, claiming “I have conquered”

I close my eyes and let the movie play

My talent of performance is showcased

The repercussions from war are been erased

As passion was reclaim

I am a star on stage

Through the lights love is the spot light glowing in my eyes

I refused to believe blissful dreams are contrived

When I wake up this movie will be my life

In this movie tear drops flow

My brothers and sister, the beauty we behold

Each generation is a sequel

For us, losing this war is illegal

We are the production of our ancestors greatness

And to the audience we address

The victory as we are achieving his dream

Home gave me life

Let me be alive

Yet this wish is misconstrue

As the stars before me shoot through the sky

I close my eyes and the movie plays…

One thing’s missing

Mom, Dad, you haven’t approved.

This poem is about:
Me
My family
