A Lifetime

Everything I do, I do for you,
Day in; day out,
I wake up each day and think of you.
How I long to hear your sweet, sweet voice,
Yet here I am, alone with my thoughts,
I close my eyes and drift away once more,
As time goes by I awaken from my slumber,
I feel your presence as I open my eyes,
Finally, my day begins,
With you at my side,
All is right with the world,
Me loving you,
You loving me,
Together, as time slips away,
Nothing in this world can come between us,
We are one,
We are love,
Absorbed in each other's souls,
One entity, one life, one lifetime.
