Life's a Climb
I had it easy
Like a breezy walk through the plains
Sun shining
Rainbows glowing
Along came a hill
A quick ascent
Sun shining
Rainbows glowing
Then change occured
Along came a mountain
The first I have ever had to climb
The summit out of sight
There were dark days
Depression lurked
I had left the plains behind
I kept climbing
And climbing
There were injuries along the way
Things I formerly loved to do left behind
I am almost to the top of the current mountain in my path
Life's a climb
Not a walk in the plains
