The Life of a Writer

The life of a writer
Is a different one indeed.
Although it is much different
It’s a wonderful life to lead.
A writer lives life
Inside their head
And will continue to do so
Until they are dead.

Imagination’s great
For the life we persue
A fortunate gift
Given only to few.
The people of the world
Would die without us.
All minds would wither
Until there’s only dust.
