Life Under a Microscope

Location

Flawless is no one when looking

Through a large enough microscope.

One hair out of place is a

Slap to the face of the viewer.

One chipped nail is a prized

Artifact turned to dust by the

Dangerously inviting floor.

One person is dehumanized by

The monsters who feel they have

The right to judge a book by its cover.

I AM FLAWLESS.

But please remove the microscope.

I know my imperfections

Much better than you.

I am a dainty little doll;

I have table manners and respect

For those around me.

I am a mad scientist;

I solve problems and strive

To leave the world a better place

Than I found it.

I am human and I make mistakes,

But I do not let them define me.

Flawless is no one when looking

Through a large enough microscope.

I am flawless,

So please remove the microscope.
