We had to fight
We prayed at night
We hurt inside
We built with in the pain
The discrimination of our name and race

We looked into the world around us
And seen chances that we never given to us
Why...
We had to make ways to live without rage.

As a family we stuck together
Never let one fend for it's own
Character stands alone
We had each other back
Never attacked the fact
That we had it bad
Cause others had it ghastly
We were just glad of we had

So again...
We had to fight
We prayed at night
We hurt inside
We built with in the pain
The discrimination of our name and race

But we had to push pass the fact Life is a Struggle!
