The life in life (The engine of the world)

Your presence in our life is tremendous,

 Your punishments are horrendous.

Your thoughts are uplifting,

And your hands influence our upbringing.

There are many things that you do,

Like leading us in the right direction.

Giving us your everlasting protection,

And showing us unbearable affection.

There will always be a connection,

Even when you are gone.

There will always be something,

And nothing...I mean nothing can take that from thee.

You are the engine that drives this world,

And yes, you are universal.

Whether it’s a train or a family,

You keep the show going with no commercials.

You are loved like the mother you are,

And no one can replace that.

The only love yours is comparable to,

Is God and that is the spoken word truth.

Yes we may fight,

And yes we do laugh,

But at the end of the day you are our moms,

And sometimes our dad.
