Life Goes On

I'm not a size 3 but I would like to be,
My eyes aren't the color I want them to be,
But so what, Life Goes On.
I didn't go to a college as far away as I wanted to go,
I let a lot of opportunities walk right out the door.
But So what, life goes on.
I don't drive the car I always pictured my self in,
I have not yet to find my own home that me and my son can develop a special bond in.
But so what life goes on.
Instead of me complaining about my what not's and have not's, I've decided to be thankful for the things I do have.
My size 9, hazel brown eyes, my ability to go to college and someday earn a degree, the opportunities I did manage to take advantage of, my cheviot Malibu, and the bedroom in which this poem was written. Life still goes on.
