Life-giving

Life-giving

1 Corinthians 15:45 New English Translation (NET Bible)

45 So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living person”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

It is believed by the world

that something good can result in bad.

Really in the law of God

one can only bring forth its own kind.

The old creation with its good

can never be the source

of the new creation’s perfection

and that is not hard to find.

What originates with the spirit

will be all spiritual.

What comes from the flesh

will be well understood.

Discernment between them both

becomes a solemn duty

of the spiritual man as such

to digest the Heavenly food.

God’s anointing works that way,

through the Spirit and Him alone.

All truth flows that way

from God to Spirit to man.

The fruit that flows through fellowship

with God ... the Father and Son

will complete the purpose

so that His Will be done.
