A Life of Dignity

Thu, 07/07/2016 - 14:54 -- Landis

Employ the men who left their homes. Afraid, astray, alone they fight.Return, return, insist the moms.  Frontiers assault and chill the bones.Nor friend nor foe, welcome the light.Employ the men who left their homes.    Avow their dignity and pay the loans. Belittled they fight to gain their right.Return, return, insist the moms.  Expand the laws, let's stop the stones. They assemble with all their might.Employ the men who left their homes.  And listen for their dying moans.Watch as their bodies shake with fright.Return, return, insist the moms.  Begin to rise milestones.Believe that one day we'll all unite.Employ the men who left their homes.Return, return, insist the moms.
