Life

Life is a mountain, child,

Just as it seems like you are almost to the top there is always more to climb.

And yes life is hard that way,

And sometimes you get tired of climbing the ever-growing mountain.

Sometimes it feels like there’s no hope in finding a solution to the problems you face,

But child as soon as you give up you make life cry for an everlasting time.

And no child your life is not a burden,

It is an ever changing painting, and it is important in other people’s lives.

Don’t ever forget that.

When life gets so hard and you cannot see an end to your hardships, go on.

Go on just to see your best friend get a medal for what they are passionate about.

Please just do go on even when it gets too foggy to see.

Instead of giving up use the fog to your advantage.

Take it by the hand and use the fog to hide from the bullies.

And even if they can find their way through the fog,

Don’t run!

Fight them for the reigns that they have tied onto your life.

Although it seems impossible to get anywhere in the foggy mountain that we call life,

Please do try to make it at least when you finish both your shampoo and conditioner bottles at the same time.

And child I can come up with millions of things that you still have to live for.

I will never stop giving up on you, not even when my fog gets too cloudy to see through.

And when you slide down the mountain of problems,

Climb up them!

Show the people who put them there in the first place that you can overcome anything that they throw at you.

Even though life is an ever-growing mountain,

Please keep on climbing your way up.
