Life is...

Life is... but a fleeting thing,
a bud of today can be a flower for tomorrow,
and it withers away, it can be seen today and tomorrow no more.

Life...it dissillusions me,
A short-lived joy, a smile that does not reach the eyes,
The pain, the sadness, and the loneliness it brings,
No guarantee of what lies ahead,

Life...is like a smoke,
It can be seen just a split of a second,
Floats into thin air, and is gone in an instant,
How long do you stay afloat seemed uncertain.

Oh, life... is like a water in the river,
it flows down to the seas,
It never goes back to where it was before,
You go on the journey to the vastness of the oceans.

Life...is like time that ticks every second,
That you can't turn back that hands of time.
Wasting it would be a great disaster,
It made you regret that you never did the best thing you could do.

Yet, Life... is as precious as fine gold,
like diamonds that gleams through the night,
Never lost its luster, tested with fire,
And is strong.
