Life

No one warned me about the struggles of life
Life doesn't get harder, it just shows its true self once we get to know it
What's something that so many cherish and adore?
What's something that takes away while giving all their first breath?
Life is what should be feared, for it comes with obstacles and downfalls
Life is a shadow creeping in from all corners, watching you struggle while laughing and putting it's thumb down while the crowd cheers to its majesty
And yet life is beautiful
It's the light in its own darkness, which helps bring us all together
It takes us places and gives us hope when there is none left
Once you get rid of its fancy obstacles and strip away all the lies in which it hides behind, we see its nature of goodness
Life is what set me free
