A Letter To Henry

My departed beloved,
dare I ask how you fare!
I would have called,
but you take calls no more,
I would have messaged,
but I know you won't get it.
You've been gone summers and winters,
sunny days have been cold without you,
rainy days hot without you.
Glittering gleam, shining dark,
is all I see when your face flashes in my head,
old memories lighting up dark,
is all I feel when I remember your name,
most times I wish you were here,
but then I remember how you left,
when I think of all the memories I had with you,
I know I never want to lose them,
like I lost you.
