Let's all stop world hunger

Wed, 02/19/2014 - 13:47 -- Priya

Children are born.

Their hearts are torn.

When there’s no food to eat.

No shelter nor heat.

No food nor meat.

All they can do is wait.

It was not written in their fate

But we’re not late.

We can get things straight.

Their life holds a weight.

All they have is hope.

Living life far worse than the ghettos is not dope.

We can only imagine a scope of their life.

We’re all alike.

Sending food and clothes will not suffice.

Life is precious.

Some of us have education, shelter, access to food, and water that we should be gracious.

There’s no time to be selfish.

We cannot let them perish.

It’s time to let our altruistic side embellish.

So lets come together and end world hunger.

We’re not getting any younger.

Helping others is not an option but a duty that’s holds honor.

It will make your heart grow stronger.

Don’t wait any longer.
