Let her stand proud...

She stands in the harbor and cries

All the words are memories

Of older times

As a country, we tremble and falter now

Let down so many

Forgotten our vow

Where are the proud that made us so great

Where are the leaders now

We have only faith

She cries in the harbor with fading light

For our homeless and poor

And their endless fight

We must stand and shout as we did

Against the destruction

Our country must rise amid

Speak loud – speak  very clear

America can rise

Without shackles of fear

Let her stand proud and  so glorious

Let the torch shine bright again

To be flawless
