Lasting Impression

Hints of flashing streaks stride along the prairie

Roaring thunder and gusting winds. Electricity

these destructive storms carry. Dark

smoke brews up dread.

Terror in everyone’s

eyes. Energy assembled ready to launch overhead.

Elegant beams in the distance but vicious

horror waits. Approaching closer

and faster. Almost striking

the earth’s shell over

all the states.

Scorched houses and broken trees left behind. A

gorgeous catastrophe. Stunning and

unpredictable combined.

How far will this go?

The storm will

decide.
