The Last Stand

"The last stand was made here

Where life drained the hills

The last stand was made here

Where many were killed

The last stand was the last

Though he did not stand

He was hung on a cross

With nails in his hands

The last stand was made here

Where the spear peirced his side

But back in three days

With kindness in his eyes

He held no hate

He spoke with grace

Father please forgive them

For they know not what they do

God's son,his treasure,his gem

Yet he died for me and you."
