A Kingdom For You

Words are my enemy

They ruin the city I try to build up

Barricading my own feelings inside the castle

Leaving me in chaos from my allies

Forever words will haunt my kingdom.

Your kingdom comes to my aid

Though the castle is shutting everyone out

I try to find my way to you,

But my guards are too afraid of what’s outside

Why must I suffer like this?

We shall tear down the door,

So that we may rekindle together

The words may still attack,

And this kingdom of mine may not be as perfect,

But forever shall it prosper with you.
