My friend is not dead, nor is he alive.
He has friends, he has a family, he receives good grades what is it he wants to leave behind?
Why does he want to leave us?
We love him
What can we do to make him realize that?
Does he know he is hurting us too?
Why does he want to go?
So many questions and no answers...
My friend is not dead, nor is he alive.
I wish the friend I knew would come back.
But no, It's the sadness that comes back
The Killer
The Sadness makes a killer
It stays and haunts
I wish that it would go away and stay away.

When it goes back to him it haunts us all
The Killer won't stop
someday it might succeed if it does not get help.
The Killer, it must go
Will not effect one but all.
At this point there is no way to fight if off,
not a laugh...
not a smile...
not a pill...
I Love You.
The words will not mean a thing once The Killer strikes.
Say good bye one more time...
Hopefully to the depression, not the boy.

This poem was inspired by a friend of mine who had attempted suicide. He got the help that he needed and is much better but still gets therapy as needed.
