keepin' it in the middle (rap-ish song)

Not too cold, not too hot
Laughter, joy, that is what I cherish
too much more and what we have might perish
Stutterin’, when I actually speak, these words of text ain’t what’s makin’ my knees weak
I won’t push it, last time I got off easy, held together what was left yet still I’m queasy
But it’s not my stomach thatsa rumblin’, the noise you hear is my heart thump thumpin’
Never laid to rest, back up and back at it, more terrified than ever you’d think I’m asthmatic
I take that breath and let it out slow, because if I want this to work, then that’s the way it’s gotta go.
