Are what keep me going

It’s mostly myself

That keeps on slowing

My productivity.

So it really helps me

Knowing that I’m doing good

And going great

Knowing that I’ve helped

Someone somewhere

Grow a smile and escape

Their crude lives even but for a moment.

It’s kinda weird to think no one’s life is golden.

But anyways back to the mirror

I grow an ego sometimes

but truly it’s me seeing myself clearer

I get really proud and I wanna scream it loud

Just for a few moments to go ahead and take a bow

I think for the most part, we’re all this way,

One compliment or smile can really say

A lot.

And be meaningful too.

Make you think twice about yourself

And what you do

And why

And how to keep going

How to better yourself

And keep on showing
